A Whimsical Garden of Color: Designing a Wedding From the Ground Up
Every so often, a wedding invites us to dream beyond florals and into the full expression of design. Recently, we had the joy of guiding a bride through her entire creative process. She chose not to work with a planner, which allowed us to collaborate closely with both her and her mother as we shaped the look, feel, and flow of her day. Designing a Color-Blocked Wonderland
From the beginning, the bride was drawn to color that felt soft yet joyful. After many conversations and shared inspiration, we arrived at a color-blocking concept that transformed the reception into a collection of whimsical, monochromatic tablescapes. It added a sense of movement to the ceremony space, as if the colors were drifting together like petals carried on a breeze.
For the head table, we embraced the opposite approach. Here, we fully mixed all the colors into one bold and expressive statement. The result was a lush, painterly tableau that anchored the reception with a burst of joyful, garden-inspired energy. It felt vibrant and celebratory, the perfect centerpiece for the people at the heart of the day.

Since we oversaw the entire design process, linens became an essential part of the visual language.
