About Us
Rooted in experience, designed with intention.
Founded in 2018, Fleuressence is a team-based wedding and event floral design studio serving Richmond, Charlottesville, and the surrounding areas of Central Virginia. With over 300 weddings completed, our studio is built on experience, integrity, and intentional design.
Our collaborative team model allows us to serve each client with care, consistency, and creative depth, while offering a level of support that brings ease to the planning process. Because our work is shared among a dedicated team of designers and production staff, every event is thoughtfully prepared and fully supported from start to finish—ensuring continuity, reliability, and attention to detail throughout the entire experience.
With our clients’ ideas at the forefront of every design plan, we thoughtfully interpret each vision and elevate it with a fresh, refined perspective to create awe-inspired floral designs. Rather than pigeonholing ourselves into a single design style, we thrive on working across diverse aesthetics, allowing each wedding to feel distinctly personal while maintaining a cohesive, elevated result.
Guided by wisdom, sustainable practices, and an uncompromising commitment to quality, our work is crafted to transcend trends and stand the test of time—creating florals that feel as meaningful as the moments they accompany.
SUSTAINABILITY
At Fleuressence, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As a Richmond and Charlottesville wedding florist, we’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint while crafting unforgettable floral arrangements for Virginia weddings. We never use single-use plastic floral foam, opting instead for reusable materials like glass and sustainable mechanics to minimize waste.
Our approach to sourcing ingredients is equally thoughtful. We order fresh flowers and greenery specifically for each wedding or event, ensuring we only use what’s needed. By avoiding over-ordering or maintaining large inventories, we support responsible farming practices and reduce waste.
Whenever possible, we source locally from Virginia farmers, celebrating the unique beauty of seasonal blooms while supporting our local agricultural community. This not only provides a fresh, authentic touch to your wedding flowers but also reinforces our commitment to sustainable practices. At Fleuressence, we believe every wedding deserves to be unique—in both design and impact.
Meet The Team.
Tori
OWNER | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Tori grew up watching nature bloom in the backyard of her childhood home in South Louisiana, where her mother tended over 60 roses and an array of bulbs and perennials. Since Tori also shared her mother’s love for flowers it was only natural that she would one day earn a degree in horticulture.
Following completion of her education, Tori worked as an event planner, and later, as an analyst testing seed for Virginia farmers. Her love for flowers eventually led her back to doing what she loves most: designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements, and in 2018, Tori founded Fleuressence.
Today, as Owner & Creative Director of Fleuressence, Tori and her team at Fleuressence spend many love filled hours creating the perfect backdrops and timeless arrangements for a bride’s special day. She is also a wife to Jason and mother to Liza.
“The joy, excitement, and complete awe that clients express over their floral designs truly fulfills me. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of someone’s special day.”
Tori loves bright, full, versatile flowers that provide both texture and unique pops of color to arrangements. She’s currently loving Garden Roses, Foxglove and Dahlias.
